Corey Mintz is a freelance food reporter who focuses on the intersection between food with labour, politics, farming, ethics, and culture. He has been a cook and a restaurant critic. In his new book The Next Supper: The End Of Restaurants As We Knew Them, And What Comes After, Corey shares with us the systemic issues the restaurants industry struggles with and what we can do to create a new model. Topics include, how we created abusive chefs and how their era is over, rising menu prices, what restaurant workers want and interpreting claims of sustainability.
