Hailing from a family of farmers and grandmothers who loved to bake, Brianne acquired a passion for food at a young age. From age 15, Brianne has worked in the hospitality industry and never looked back. Completing her culinary education at Humber College with Honours, she knew it was the right path.
She went on to compete in the Discovered Culinary Competition & Chopped Canada, with both wins under her belt. One win, sending her to Spain to study at 2 Michelin Star Restaurant, Casa Gerardo, in Asturias.
Travel has always gone hand in hand for Brianne, opening her eyes to many different flavours and cultures. Her experiences include Fine Dining, Butcher Shops, Quick Service, Molecular Cuisine, and Private Sous Chef to Frank Stronach!
Eventually settling down at Nella Cucina to pass along her trade to others, becoming a Culinary Instructor.
Brianne is passionate about Healthy Eats, Reducing Waste, with a love for Spanish & French Cuisine. Her motto “Cooking is a skill that lasts a lifetime, whether you do it professionally or as a hobby, it will always be beneficial to your life. Never stop learning.”
