Bob Huitema is the president of DistillX Beverages Inc., Canada’s premier distilled non-alcoholic spirits manufacturer.

A 30-year food and beverage industry veteran, Huitema is the former marketing director of beer and director of strategic accounts for Diageo, one of the world’s largest distillers, and has also previously held senior management roles in marketing, sales, and corporate finance for Heinz, KPMG, and Timothy’s World Coffee. Driven by a desire to live healthier while still enjoying great-tasting cocktails, Huitema used his industry knowledge and passion for innovation to found DistillX Beverages in 2018. The company’s flagship product, Sobrii 0-Gin, Canada’s first distilled non-alcoholic gin, was launched in 2019. As president of DistillX Beverages Inc., Huitema’s goal is to set a new standard for non-alcoholic beverages and to offer health-conscious adults, and the sober curious, alternative spirits that don’t compromise on taste.
