River Café’s Chef Scott MacKenzie welcomes Chef Gus Stieffenhofer-Brandson of Vancouver’s Michelin-starred Published On Main and Chef Mandel Hitzer of Winnipeg's national award winning Deer + Almond to collaborate on a tasting menu exploring the rich local terroir of Western Canada through the lens of their shared German heritage.
For this Terroir Signature Dinner, the chefs have created an inspired menu to pay homage to their personal journeys, drawing from their early culinary influences and family recipes. They will share their unique stories of exploring cultural roots and creating from memory their recollections of the family table.
Please note, this event will be communal table style seating. This menu will include meat, dairy and gluten and these dietary restrictions cannot be accommodated.
