Chef Rupert Garcia’s distinguished culinary career is built on a deep technical foundation and a global perspective. A graduate of SAIT and a holder of the esteemed Red Seal Chef certification, he has gained significant experience, including voluntary stints at Michelin-starred restaurants in New York and San Francisco. Specializing in Contemporary Cuisine with a focus on French and Asian culinary traditions, Chef Garcia blends innovative techniques with rich global influences.

His extensive travels to regions such as the USA, South Africa, Japan, and Korea have further enriched his approach, integrating diverse flavors and techniques into his signature style. Chef Garcia has earned numerous accolades, including multiple medals with the Canadian Culinary Federation. In 2014, he earned a second-place finish representing Canada at the Chaine Des Rotisseurs International Competition in South Africa. Most recently, in February 2024, he won the silver medal at the Canadian Culinary Championship, competing against some of the country’s top chefs.
